Marstel-Day was founded in 2002 with a commitment to enhance the environment and permanently conserve natural resources and habitat. Our work includes Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements, Environmental Intelligence, Encroachment Control Planning/Open Space Acquisition, Ecosystem Service Valuations, Land Use and Conservation Planning, Sustainability Analyses, and Water Demand Forecasting. Marstel-Day recently began work on environmental issues influencing the international security arena, by exploring how environmental trends and drivers may either destabilize nations, leading to confrontation, or influence stability and peacekeeping. Much of our work involves a high degree of public communications, outreach and engagement. Marstel-Day is committed to bringing the best thinking possible to bear upon institutional public policy issues and in 2009 garnered recognition through numerous awards such as HOTFIRM 2009; INC Magazine 500/5000; and the Virginia Fantastic 50.
